1936 Mack Model EH Flathead Truck

 The 1936 Mack Model EH was a 4x2 truck, available as both a conventional and a cabover design, with some models also serving as semi tractors. It was part of the larger Mack E series, which was introduced in 1936 and known for its streamlined appearance compared to earlier Mack models. The EH was available in commercial and military versions, with the latter featuring disc wheels and air brakes, while commercial models typically had split rim wheels and hydraulic brakes. 

For auction is a 1936 Mack Model EH flathead truck that presents in barn find condition and is loaded with tires in back that come with the truck. Much of the engine is still onboard but there are no keys for the vehicle. 

Exterior
Hints of red paint can be seen on the door and inside the fuel door, but this truck has likely been in the elements for many years as all exposed parts are rusty including the frame, body, suspension, and engine. There's a fender on the frame of the flatbed, but the front clip is otherwise missing as is a semblance of the bed. 

Interior
The vintage dash is weathered but mostly intact while the bench seat cloth is shredded, leaving the springs exposed, now rusty. The headliner and door panels are tattered and hanging loose and some of the glass on the windows is cloudy and cracked. There are various random parts and trim pieces piled in the cab. 

Drivetrain
Rusty and crusty is the 345ci L-head inline six cylinder, once rated at 100 horsepower, still wearing its 1-barrel carburetor and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a double reduction full floating axle in back with 4.88 gears. 

Undercarriage
Dum brakes are behind the 19-inch heavy duty truck wheels in back and massive leaf springs occupy the front and back axles. Remnants of a single exhaust system terminates prematurely just under the cab.

Drive-Ability
Even if we had keys, this truck is not going anywhere for a while.
